bruh if you had seen the finals you would've known which team was actually good.
NUALS got 1st place Baxter and 6th place Cherif. NLUD got best speaker. RGNUL got 17th place Alona

None of the teams even reached octa. One oralist winning best oralist and a team winning "best orals" is quite different. Overall was not a good year.
Raag was the Best Speaker in the Finals. The Best Speaker (Preliminary Rounds) was an Indian, in 1973 and now in 2026 from NLUD.
NUALS got M Cherif Bassouni award for sixth best memo across all participating teams and RGNUL got Alona E Evans award for seventeenth best memo across all teams qualified to world rounds. These two awards and NLU Delhi best oralist were the three from India
NUS, the winners in this year, were truly extraordinary.
NLU Delhi's speaker won the best oralist award (preliminary rounds).

It's the first time since 1973 that an Indian has won the best speaker award. An achievement to cherish!
how is an Indian team winning best oralist - the first time since 1973 this has happened - a bad thing?
NLUD 5th year won best oralist in the prelims. All the Indian teams except NLS were eliminated in the round of 48. NLS got eliminated in the round of 32. Overall not a good year.
How did Indian teams fair in Jessup 2026 internationals? Did they advance or win any awards?
