IVth Year student from NLS here, I'm sure students across batches can feel the frustration and helplessness at the way our Messiah's "Master Plan" for re-development is being implemented on Campus. What started as periodic banging and clanging has now amplified to a crass cacophony of incessant drilling, banging, and unloading that too right from morning classes scheduled for 9:00 AM. The administration has forced us to normalise these noises around us that seriously impact concentrating and understanding what is being taught in class. At times, the drilling gets so loud that the Professors need to pause and start teaching in installments. They do not spare suspending construction activities even during our mid/end term examinations which is the least we expect them to do. I'd have appended footage of the noise we experience had there been an option, but yeah. This has been going on for three continuous trimesters now (each new trimester heralding a substantial increment in NOISE POLLUTION levels) and I sincerely hope that some compromise can be worked out before driving all of us here mad!!!!!!!!
