I graduated last year from a non NLU college and a few months back I joined the chambers of an independent practitioner who's pretty good, but he's young and has been independent for a few years now (don't really have a problem with that personally, as he's good and seems to know his stuff). The office is chill, there are good high stakes matters, there's decent learning, and I'm pretty happy, as there's also work life balance and decent pay. But the matters he takes up are pretty limited area wise, not full practice, maybe that may happen down the line, but right now there are no civil matters, majorly commercial matters.

Learning-wise, in these areas it's good, but I'm worried that maybe I shouldn't restrict/narrow down my areas of practice so early, I feel like maybe i should try everything especially when im young and as i get old, I can't exactly experiment, so I need to figure out what i want and dont want, but on the other side im thinking the exposure pay and all is good right now, so once I learn everything here, I can leave for another office, or maybe if he expands his practice i can stay, as he's very considerate and also seems good. I'm stuck in a dilemma now; I definitely want to stay for a year, and I understand I'm young enough to experiment and all and figure stuff out eventually, but what if in a year people think i'm not employable enough elsewhere or something? any advice is appreciated
