Need Guidance for switching from Litigation Practice to Law Firm Practice
Currently working in a chamber of established lawyer in MPHC having almost 4 Years PQE. The work here is majorly Civil, Criminal Litigation, Service disputes. I have a good exposure of Litigation. Regular appearances in Courts, Drafting High stakes pleadings, Replies, Written Submissions. Assisted Senior advocates in Court, Been praised for my drafting's by Judges, Senior Advocates. I also have limited independent practise primarily Service disputes, Small arbitration matters under the NHAI Act, Assisting educational institutes in matters relating to disaffiliation etc, Bail matters. I have worked closely with prosecution in P.C Act. Family disputes. TBH the work here I do is giving me decent recognition compared to my fellow collegues who are equally excellent. Its just the money which is coming slow because of which my other plans are getting delayed. Therefore I was thinking to switch to Law firm practice. Preferrably in disputes team. However I don't know from where to start, whom to reach out. Is it possible to get into TIER1/2 Law firm with past litigation experience?
