We want LI to be one of the friendliest places on the internet, where lawyers and law students help each other with their career related queries and occasionally discuss other stuff that might affect their lives too. In other words:
1. Be kind, respectful and helpful to each other.
2. Be bona fide, truthful, genuine and curious.
3. Assume the best intention of others.

NLSIU - National Law SCHOOL if India UNIVERSITY.
Better than these horrendous stupid names.
So, National Law University of India in Bengaluru (IIT equivalent).
Then comes ILI Hyderabad, ILI Kolkata, ILI Gandhinagar etc (NIT equivalent).
In the case of NLUD, it could be merged with ILI Delhi and the combined entity made into a second NLU, after Bengaluru.
Maharastra NLU Mumbai
Maharastra NLU Nagpur
Maharastra NLU Shambhajinagar
I do condone one NLU per state only. But it's not possible for larger states like MH and UP.
The reason for state name first is because at the end of the day it's a state University. The only way we remove that is if NLUs become central universities, IoI or IoE. Till then State first.
But what about NLSIU, NALSAR and NUJS? Will they change?
More complicated will be certain NLUs that have been named after different people for votebank politics: HNLU, DSNLU (Vizag), DRBNLU (Haryana) etc.
