Faculties are terrible now, absolutely terrible. Be prepared accordingly
Placements have tanked wrt to firms, it's all on your own in this aspect.
Agreed wrt mooting and symbhav.
The professors who made an attempt to understand the subject allocated to them and thereafter teach it to us, have all left. Most of the teachers half ass it out here coz manpower issues.
Placements are shit. At least they were for BO25. Opportunities for direct recruitment are few and far in between. Mostly you’re out on your own.
That being said, enjoy the city and moot as much as you can. Unless you’re into academia, chuck the papers. Bide your time doing something better / more productive.

Its a facade that college cells help you intern and get placed at good places, only a good gpa, quality papers and meaningful moot court competitions help you with that, those telling otherwise just want you to work for their cells so that they don't have to put in the hours.
College gives you a bunch of internship opportunities, time and academic exposure, however it is only for those who want to work for and take it. Nothing comes automatically.
Mooting culture is amazing, make the most of it (I regret not participating in more moots) you will get to experience mooting right from your first year with ample opportunities for national and international representations.
Ragging is not a problem here, strict rules in place and actually implemented.
Faculties will help getting your papers publish in good journals. Start writing from your first year onwards itself, even if they don't get published, you will get a better understanding on how to go about writing papers when the actual time comes, which is in and around your 3rd year with your elective subjects.
Good number of companies and firms come to the college for internships and placements, the college has a respectable name for you to not take a drop. Beyond academics, Pune is a beautiful city to spend half a decade of your life.
You will love Symbhav, no other college has a better fest, period.
