From the time you got a license to practice, which is only after you get your full sanad. There nobody is hung-up on the exact PQE as in India.
For US/NY - the graduation class of your LLM year. India experience is typically not counted (there are some one-off cases where I've seen India experience being given some weightage bur rare).
its unfortunate, but the discount on non-UK PQE is quite high and as such unless someone has worked for more than 4 years in India, it counts for little
Are you able to explain please precisely how that discounting mechanism tends to work? So anything <4 years is totally discounted, according to your understanding?
