I want people who have tea on what is the current situation. Has AI taken away firm jobs? (Seeing lesser hires every year nowadays as well)
The second wave of legal AI is going to be more interesting, as the latest models have developed agentic and long horizon capabilities that can lend themselves to easily replacing the work of an A0/A1. That's yet to come though.
Long story short, even though execution time for completing deals will shorten up the number of deals will increase. Therefore, unemployment due to AI should not be on your bucket list to lose sleep over.
