All awards are paid whether it is BW, Forbes or Chambers. They only offer different structure from subscription to journal model to application fees. At the end they know people pay to get an award
Yes dear, randos buying random awards on sale to flex to random people on linkedin, is the epitome of talent ๐Ÿ˜˜
100% true. It is paid stuff. We get so many such requests, including some schemes even promising a cover page picture.
35K to apply and be on the list. For arwards its was 75K
people who can't make it with the legit rankings (chambers and legal 500) pay BW, ALB and Legal era
No. Mostly mediocre but ambitious people looking for short cut to success. Every year I get a mail from BW Legal and they ask money for ranking.
Everyone knows its fake and still clients ask for your rankings / firm profile and t1 bands during empanelment due to their own internal by laws which say they will only engage a t1 band practice area law firm etc.
If you firm doesn't pay - they know it's a money business and once your name is there - the world will think this firm pays money for this stuff. So please tread carefully if you are considering paying yourself for it.
What are the rates? No wonder I didnโ€™t find too many award worthy participants - so many star lawyers I know have never participated in BW legal- so donโ€™t know if this is a good award program or some paid fake stuff
What is the rate for 40 under 40? Because I got lot of grief from my friends for not participating and my firm doesnโ€™t pay.
No 30 under 30 is 75k. This insecure fellow in my office paid since he went to โ–ฎโ–ฎโ–ฎ.
Its paid. Our firm also received their invitation to apply for it but to apply they charge money
All 'X under X'-es are entirely fake, sillly, gameable, and stupid. Even Forbes. Especially the ones that since copied Forbes.

Presumably there is some correlation with success... maybe? ;)
