If any seniors have any tips or anything to keep in mind while calculating stamp duty, please help a junior out. I want to learn from here and from my mistakes so that I don’t repeat it.
There’ll be many more mistakes you commit in future so learn to deal with them and figure a way out. So long as it can be fixed, it’s recoverable.
Though the wise man was an A0, chill!
Most likely you will just a rap on the knuckles and it will be done. If in case the firm comes down harder than that, then just know that you are in a workplace that is really not a fair one (especially considering you are an A0 and nobody checked your work).

In relation to incidence of stamp duty on mortgage deeds; hypothecation and pledge agreements; business agreements, computation of applicable stamp duty is pretty straightforward.
For computation of stamp duty on conveyancing, leases and licenses, several factors relating to the subject-matter property(ies) have to be considered at the outset.
Pertinently, it is advisable to get such deeds/instruments adjudicated at office of Collector of Stamps for many reasons which are required to be lodged for registration at concerned sub-Registrar of Assurances.
