your existence offends me
I reach court around 10am, and am with sir till 4:30pm when court gets over. Would again sit in his chamber for an hour perhaps till 5:30/6ish, for any conference/work given and then go home, and again back to his chamber at 8/9pm - and there till the conferences are there, usually till 12. Thereafter, back home, and work again maybe for an hour max.
Repeat again. Weekends are slightly relaxing.
Salary/stipend? oh none. But i am getting to work and learn, and also get used to the lifestyle of what is coming to be.
I’m definitely not an early riser to realising that WLB > More Money.
As a law student, I was just about the cha-ching. But as I’m graduating, now I’m in a place where long hours are A NORM. Even though I might earn good, I would like to reach home at a respectable time and get other shit done. Hope some of you can relate.
This is not about comfort or being lazy, I have seen too many health issues due to stress and long working hours. Long working hours are cool when there is an execution or a filing or any urgent business but daily? Pls no.
If you all can please help me by putting your company, timings/ working hours and team.
Eg - xyz & Co. , 9-7pm, m&a
Law firms and In House people, please help a lad out.
