We want LI to be one of the friendliest places on the internet, where lawyers and law students help each other with their career related queries and occasionally discuss other stuff that might affect their lives too. In other words:
1. Be kind, respectful and helpful to each other.
2. Be bona fide, truthful, genuine and curious.
3. Assume the best intention of others.
Therefore, in using the site, you must agree to do your best to uphold these community guidelines.
Note that what you find here is written and moderated by anonymous people on the internet.
Therefore everything you read here is very likely unverified, rumour, speculation and/or downright false.
In continuing to read anything here, you must therefore agree not to take anything you read here as factual and that you will exercise due caution, diligence and common sense before acting on any information you may come across here.
You also agree to report any inaccurate or malicious comments with the buttons. Moderators take action within 24 hours, as required and appropriate under law.
Our full terms and conditions apply too.
Do you solemnly agree to all of the above?
PS: Youβre projecting. You seem unwilling to accept the possibility that my views come from a place of solid reasoning.
Have we matched before β or did I just ignore your match requests and those painfully adorable pickup lines a zillion times?
Or maybe I just said, βNo, thank you ji π«£π,β leaving you wondering, βHow can he choose nothing over a hottie like me?β
Or worse β I didnβt. π
And honestly, the lawyers on these apps? Shockingly the worst conversationalists.
Except that one senior advocate whoβs always on TV β writing her bio like, βIβm smarter than all of you.β
Like⦠kaun aise likhta hai bio mein aajkal?
If a guy wrote that kind of rubbish in his bio, heβd be cancelled so fast!β¦β¦β¦
Anyway, do indulge β drop my initials and impress us all. Please!
What I donβt understand is: where do I go from here?
Hinge was a wasteland. Bumble wasnβt much better. People swipe without intention, without curiosity, without even the basic ability to hold a normal conversation. Itβs like the collective attention span has collapsed.
Are dating apps just performative now? Has everyone moved on to something else and I didnβt get the memo? Because Iβm clearly missing whatever modern system is in place.
Please help.
