Westside, H&M, Myntra - Allen Solly, Van Heusen, and Mango have some great stuff you can get quite reasonably and which are not textbook formals. Go for more tops and blouses instead of shirts as they are usually smarter and more β€œfashionable”, so to say
Try Her by Invictus, Fablestreet, M&S on sale.

Best of luck and ignore the haters.

Shop from Myntra. They have pretty good stuff. The key thing is to get right size & fit
I understand that. But what does dress smart mean? My internship outfits have just been a handed down blazer and the same set of white shirts, I would prefer dressing a bit better than that
Nobody stopping men from adorning summer dreses and mini shorts, try it!
As a woman you can literally wear anything, no one cares. Have seen people coming in with summer dresses mini shorts

As a man, oh well...
Its a job. Not a fashion parade. Impress them with your work and work ethic. Not your clothes.

Simple.. dress smart.
I need to upgrade my wardrobe but I don't know what would be appropriate for women. I also don't want to spend a lot on fashion at this stage (unless it makes a major difference, then I might have to budget for the same)
