Hey people, I have been selected for assessment internship at a Tier 1 Firm dealing w Capital Markets. Is it still true that the attrition rate in Capital Markets is very high?
Itโ€™s a great practice if you want to go abroad post a few years of PQE.
1 in 500 associates will get to go abroad, stop fooling kids
Not the practiceโ€™s fault that 1 out 500 associates are smart.
Cap marks has the most incompetent lawyers. Such teams just need resources - no skill, no intelligence, no brainstorming and no vigour.

T1 firms hire from T4.
Because Partners Leading the teams are minting money like hell. For CAM Regional Heads are making 5 to 7 Crores. Similarly JSA, Trilegal and KCO EPs are making 6-8 Crores. Even Link Legal, CB, B&P Lead Partners are making 3 to 6 Crores.
never denied they aren't. But billing money is not a fresher's concern. An associate would be paid at par across practice areas- it is the nature of work that matters at that level
Any openings rn for capital markets freshers or 0-7 months PQE
This is one practice area that is going to be completely disrupted by AI
Will the capital markets lobby actually allow someone to create an AI, why hasn't it been created yet then by now?
