Who said the Bom Hc has an exam for AOR? That was done away long ago

I think you are referring to the BILS exam
Right, and the Mad bar became well known for...

You guess it.

Regardless, its a mystery why the dual system was not there in Madras.
You want academia?

Go to a think-tank or research institute, this is a place where we all can at least anonymously vent our corpo law life.
That's comparing apples to oranges, doesn't make any HC less relevant my guy
Complete sidenote: The Delhi Bar Association is one of the Asia's oldest bar associations, if not the oldest of the continent. Although I wouldn't cite DBA for the Delhi Bar tradition argument.

Also not to forget the entire argument is a silly one.
Because people form south didn't kowtow to the British, unlike people from North and Bombay
Threads like these should be getting traction, not just corp hike this or scandal adv that

If it weren't for the Bom; Cal; and Mad bars,

CPC, arbitration, Constitution, and name any law as you please to, their development would have been a joke.
If it weren't for Delhi HC the IP law development in india would've been a joke
Does the delhi bar have any tradition? How old is it even? All, Bom, Cal, Mad, Kar HC Bars are all over 100 years old. You have institutions like the BLC which is over 200 years old. Delhi Bar is a newbie
how dare you call my diliwale hc as tradition-less?!
A tradition-less HC, that's why. Its often said so because it tried to adopt the dual system of Bom and Cal HCs, but failed to. And since its a new HC, 100 years younger to the Bom and Cal HCs, lacks traditions. But no doubt a premier HC
Interesting, can you please elaborate a bit more about Calcutta High Court?
I heard if you want to start practicing in Original Side jurisdiction of any High Court in India, you'll have to clear a exam conducted by it each year.
How true is this claim? Can anyone say from personal experience?
