My friend, just come out with it: you wanna sit the UPSC exams for IAS, IFS etc. Tell me which other exam you know of has that kind of a structure? Start by calling a spade a spade.
So funny to see people actually think UPSC is worthwhile. It isn't.
You are wrong. The issue is as much your communication style. You seem to have a habit of trying not to be as frank as possible.
which firm please tell, that doesnt give even sunday's off!
Not true. My team has limited work on the weekends
You won't clear any comp exam in India if you don't even have time to appear for the exam, let alone prep
Just give some random excuse that you are out for a family gathering and would revert after 3 pm
Not an answer to OPs question - but why would you give up a T1 job with good pay, for a bureaucrat's salary?
Howsoever evil or nobel, salary isn't why people become bureaucrats.
because bureaucrats have too much access to resources and "alternate" incomes to not give a flying fuck about their salary
Guessing OP is well aware of the real economics of “public service”
T1 jobs are useless, no doubt. Its a law firm after all, which is worse than litigation. But being a sarkari babu is even worse. No pay, no respect, nothing.
How did you conclude it's preparation for UPSC? It could be judiciary too. Also, not everyone measures worth in pay slips, some value purpose, balance, and a life outside the billing cycle.
It is not salary that bureaucrats in India care about
I'm curious too. OP could you enlighten us please?
Sit only if you’ve got the golden tickets, your certificates ;)
Wasn't CLAT enough? Or did you fail that, somehow manage to make your way up from a no-name uni, but somehow didn't manage to cure your insecurities re: failing CLAT?
I am from a non CLAT , union Territory university, NLUD.
Even more baffling in that case! AILET's an equally good exam - so you shouldn't have such insecurities!
Have you ever actually sat down to think that people might not always be posting comments reflecting their true views on this site? That some people might just troll for the sake of trolling?
