these are two different people with the same name… what is happening is that BJP handles are retweeting anti-Modi posts by the ex-JGLS prof to make it sound as it the US prof is part of the the anti-Modi brigade. The SH thing also.
Even if it’s true that the US prof is a Chinese spy and Soros agent, let’s not blame him for things done by someone else. 🥲

This despite to score quick, cheap and ultimately farcical social media wins distracts and ensures that things continue as bfr and the powerful (all colours) continue to play and profit from their games.
I am not saying RS was all hot air and everyone got their starlights except the victims but going fwd did we get better ways to work around an inherently lopsided judicial system (which will always try to maintain status quo) and yet achieve the results?
Look at the recent SC order against NUJS VC. Or how all the "sides" despite public display of sloganeering etc actually collaborated to kill off the RG Kar case, at least legally. Same for so many other politically "sensitive" cases. Simply thrown into the judicial freezer.
