stupid upsc exam and its shenanigans. I still fail to understand how someone can even think being an IAS officer is something respectable - and a matter of pride and honour.
Yes. I had seen the trainee officers of one of the services cheating on a mass scale in their exams. Most of them were not paying attention at all in classes and preparing to get IAS.

Bribery and Ethics are completely independent of each other. It would have indeed been very unethical and unacceptable if they take a bribe and do not do the work with efficiency and punctuality.
