1. There is a lot of time before you can make any conclusion about "death of a dream"!
2. This means you have plenty of time to remedy your mistakes.
3. Importantly, most people don't land up in a T1 firm in the first year - all that comes much later.
So I am listing my first-year mistakes:
1) Not networking, I currently have 0 friends, and know only 2 seniors I can seek advice from.
2) Not taking part in anything, and I really mean anything. No moots, ADRs, or even ECAs. I have no achievements to put on my CV.
3) Not being able to secure internships with any Sr. Adv.
4) Not studying hard enough, my GPA is below average.
