We want LI to be one of the friendliest places on the internet, where lawyers and law students help each other with their career related queries and occasionally discuss other stuff that might affect their lives too. In other words:
1. Be kind, respectful and helpful to each other.
2. Be bona fide, truthful, genuine and curious.
3. Assume the best intention of others.

His work involves speaking to guys who come to the UK without visas by sea or through smugglers. They need to prepare documentation for filing an asylum application. They need to research (including case laws of UK Immigration Tribunals) and link the facts with publicly available data to support the asylum case. You will report to solicitors in the UK.
The clients include guys fleeing Afghanistan from Taliban atrocities, women activists from Iran, Mynamar, etc.
You will also need to write exams for the Law Society UK accreditation: https://www.lawsociety.org.uk/career-advice/individual-accreditations/immigration-and-asylum-law-accreditation/how-to-apply (the company trains you and pays for the exam; with the first exam on Trainee Casework Assistant, followed by Casework Assistant, Caseworker, and Senior Caseworker)
This is a good start if you want to do Human Rights work, considering you will learn UK and European laws and also get accreditation from the Law Society UK (assuming you pass the exams)
