We want LI to be one of the friendliest places on the internet, where lawyers and law students help each other with their career related queries and occasionally discuss other stuff that might affect their lives too. In other words:
1. Be kind, respectful and helpful to each other.
2. Be bona fide, truthful, genuine and curious.
3. Assume the best intention of others.

Secondly, a huge applause to all who have secured positions, be it at a Tier I law firm or a boutique practice. You’ve made it. Every late night, every sacrifice, every ounce of effort is now bearing fruit. The salary figures may excite you for a while, but sooner or later, what you’ll truly value is peace of mind. Remember, you’ve earned your place.
Lastly, to those who couldn’t, please don’t let the pressure consume you. This is not the end of the road. Trust the process. Limit your time on social media as it adds unnecessary stress. Instead, take up courses which will beneficial, reach out to seniors, seek referrals, and most importantly, keep investing in yourself. Progress may feel slow, but it’s still progress.
I share this not as advice, but as something I’ve lived through. The journey is tough, but so are you. Keep hustling the right opportunity will find you. Enjoy the process, and never ever lose your hopes. Remember that you are worthy.
Cheers!!!!
