It's really saddening that people can be so obnoxious towards their only job - HIRING.
I really do not understand the motive behind such acts. Is this creating a fake hype or is it just to show the world that look we are still relevant in the market.
They are running a business, you are the product.
Legal recruiters are sellers and HR is the buyer.
You are supplying them with market data.
Another group of recruiters would not budge for even initial screening. They are very random in choosing I guess. Because they never respond to your follow-ups. Be aware of such recruiters. You would never know if your profile ever made it to the HR's desk, and one day you get a response (while applying through another recruiter) that your profile is coming as duplicate.
