Example 2: Kiara’s rank makes her eligible for NUJS in the merit list and Bengal domicile list. Does NUJS keep her in the merit list and admit a Bengal domicile candidate headed to NLIU Bhopal? Or, does NUJS keep her in the Bengal domicile list abs admit a merit list candidate headed to NLIU Bhopal?
Is there any policy on this? Does it depend on the VC of the concerned institution?
Example 2 idk what the policy is with state domicile seats. It might depend on WB Govt policy.

But let's be frank: only relatively few SC-ST candidates have made it to the CLAT merit list historically, hence they require the assistance of reservation. So the overall SC-ST percentage does not change much with this dual categorisation.

As far as domicile reservation goes, that's all jugaad LOL. Full of corruption and arbitrariness in allocation.
So, in order to reach in General Category, not only you have to be in Merit of General you should have all other qualifications for General category like Age/Fees/Min. Marks/Max. Attempts. Etc.
This is especially true for IAS
