In any case, if you feel otherwise, I would recommend that you first understand the quantum which is at stake. If it is in lakhs/crores, engage a senior advocate. Their fees are exorbitant, but they are the most effective at securing relief for their client. Your current advocate can help you with that. If the quantum isn't that much, just look for similar cases on Indian Kanoon - be specific to the forum - and you will find those lawyers who have been able to secure relief in cases similar to yours. You can always approach them. All the best!

Also, what essential questions that I must ask before zeroing on a prospect candidate and how do I approach/find the candidates? should I just go to the high court and meet advocates in their chambers at random or should I first schedule an appointment? I'm an introvert and socially awkward hence the anxiety.
