Hi, lovely people of legally India - would anyone have any idea about IFC legal salaries? Saw SAM/CAM/S&R ex-partners working there so it can't be that less, please lmk!
It's about 2 USD per hour for a 8 hour shift. 2.5 usd for overtime. Employee get paid in USD because it's international, there's also an option to be paid in stablecoins
Should be around 15-16 lakhs ctc, will have to take a cut from law firm salary ofc
Lol no, you'll be paid more than these lala firms
This for the Delhi/Mumbai offices. Not the hourly figures
At the β€œprincipal counsel” designation (senior most designation possible in India), they would make approx 1.5-2 crore in hand post tax/free of tax. Lower designations would be at lower scales. Excellent benefits. No concept of bonuses though.
That newly released position is a contract job. Avoid
No chances of extension beyond the three years?
All jobs at IFC and World Bank are now on contract, this has been the case for the last 10 years. Contracts generally get extended unless there is a performance issue
I have it on good authority that IFC may not be the best place to work. No concept of bonus. Lots of in office politics. Pay is lower than a tier 1 with not much change in WLB. Would avoid applying if I was you.
