We want LI to be one of the friendliest places on the internet, where lawyers and law students help each other with their career related queries and occasionally discuss other stuff that might affect their lives too. In other words:
1. Be kind, respectful and helpful to each other.
2. Be bona fide, truthful, genuine and curious.
3. Assume the best intention of others.
Therefore, in using the site, you must agree to do your best to uphold these community guidelines.

Do you solemnly agree to all of the above?
I mean this with complete goodness of heart. If despite 4 years in the profession, such questions torment you, please consider if you should still stay in the legal field, let alone litigation. This field is brutal. Your naivety will burn your career or whatever to ashes. You might be academically sound to survive for some years. Can your general personality back you up though?
You have to go back to the drawing board man. Don't waste your youth and life life this
I have been working at any Advocate's chamber since 2021
I am the only junior there
The senior is otherwise a very decent chap
Has never stopped me from pursuing independent matters etc
I want to change chambers only because I want experience in type of matters which this senior does not take
The notice period here is One Month
Is this too much?
Will it affect my moves to some other Chambers?
On a side note, should I accept offers from chambers not supporting independent matters of my own?
Mods, please publish
Thanks
