From someone who once couldn’t clear intra knockouts in first year to now winning national moots, I can tell you this: people who post wins on LinkedIn aren’t “naturally gifted” or “special.” The real difference is persistence, the ability to keep going when others give up.
There were times I felt like not registering because I didn’t know the area of law. But I did anyway and ended up winning. During prep, you might feel lost, not understand the problem, struggle with case laws, or want to quit under pressure. That’s normal. Trust yourself and push through. Grit will take you farther than you can imagine. Find a good team, don't wait for the perfect team (it does not exist )
I have participated in the best commercial international moot of the world and have done fairly well in it, after finishing in the top ranks in my university internals. I can coach you for free. Anonymously, and obviously free of cost. You are open to stay anonymous as well.
And one more thing that people often ignore, get as good at your understanding of law (core subjects such as CPC, Contract, CrPC) as you possibly can, since these are the most important aspect for clearing interviews. This is the one thing that helped me the most, and I can confidently no amount of moots could alone give me the opportunities that I ended up creating for myself.
