Hi, I am someone who got a PPO with the capital markets team of a firm. I am so curious about what it is exactly that makes it so bad, please shed light.
now that we are talking about the cons - can someone tell about the pros as well?
Mundane work, repititive process, out-of-control deadlines, no work life balance, horrible people, 80% deals fail or stop so no impact, very long hours, work at ungodly hours.

All this leading to a life with medical issues, mental health problems. Strictly Avoid.
I have a ppo with the capital markets team so I do not know how much of strict avoidance can be done at this point in time :(
The smartest answer. Unless you are extremely drawn by capital markets law, or have an insane desire to go abroad (no guarantee), or come from a super humble family - don't choose cap marks
Why no guarantee?? It is the easiest to transition to abroad
A0 is tough- no firm takes A0s through open hiring
They do, they do, SAM blore cap marks took in a guy from Jindal
Nothing. Just LLM required there and people here are too lazy to pursue that.
