From NLU-X. Someone I know has an ICC POSH Committee order against him, along with a few other disciplinary actions. Was just curious, does he have to disclose this to the firms that consider him for a PPO? Are they likely to hire someone like that?
Do firms not vet any of this? He comes from a well-connected business family, but any decent t1 should not overlook an incident of sexual assault right?
I dont think the disclosure is mandatory, but if they find out, huge trouble.
It will usually be disclosed on the final transcript. so they will get to know anyway. It will definitely work against him but also depends on how severe the incident and punishment was.
Someone I know in question being you. Love how you think you'll just say oh btw I have posh orders against me but hahaha I am good at what I do. Hope you stay employed
There is a proper order against the person in question
Ha ha! Some of the worst sexual predators of NLUs are today top law firm partners, activists, academics etc. Sexual harassment was, is and always will be an overlooked issue at our universities. Both the left and right are complicit in this.
