We want LI to be one of the friendliest places on the internet, where lawyers and law students help each other with their career related queries and occasionally discuss other stuff that might affect their lives too. In other words:
1. Be kind, respectful and helpful to each other.
2. Be bona fide, truthful, genuine and curious.
3. Assume the best intention of others.

Now, I find myself in a situation where I've forgotten how to read and analyze the law or case laws, as I'm constantly engaged in mechanical, repetitive tasks, thanks to a toxic boss. I always knew that an in-house setup wasn't for me, but law firms seem unwilling to consider me. With almost one year of PQE, I feel like I haven't developed any real legal skills through either of my two jobs.
I would be truly grateful for any advice that could help me revive my legal career, which currently feels like it's on life support.
