Any insider here to share the tea? Who's in the race, who's a dark horse, who's the lame also-ran, and what's their agenda?
The candidate will be hand picked by the TMC, like last time. Students wonโ€™t protest, unlike at NLSIU. Remember also that the students may not want a well-qualified VC like Sudhir Krishnaswamy, because that will mean and end to grade inflation and attendance exemptions.
If you don't have any real information to contribute, then why comment?
idk why you all think there is a grade inflation at NUJS. Its a myth.
Nor do the students appreciate or work hard for the classes of the few faculty who are good. Nor do they protest against such recruitment. So they are equally complicit in this charade.
MKS and VCV (seeking upgrade). RB (local dark hose).
Can you please elaborate as to who these "MKS", "VCV" and "RB" are?.....initials are difficult to decode :-)
VK Unni from IIM Calcutta would easily win the race on merit, but I donโ€™t think he is interested in leaving IIMC.
IMO thereโ€™s a good chance that the TMC may appoint a retired High Court judge who is close to the regime. Amit Talukdar redux. I canโ€™t see our courts striking down the appointment, because judges will support their own.
