Get real, guys. Asia is well ahead of India, with the exception of Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal etc.
As for the other international cities, I'm a bit surprised that London is in the top five, having lived there myself. Don't get me wrong: it's a wonderful city, but on "affordability", the marks can't be high. It was only because I am disabled that I was allowed to live in on-campus, government-subsidised, housing at my university throughout my studies there. If you're not doing that, you're certainly paying a lot more. I'd personally have put London at 6 or 7 (or maybe even a little lower) because of that (but not willing to lower it to below top 10).
1. Seoul
2. Tokyo
3. London
4. Munich
5. Melbourne
Among other Asian cities, Singapore at 11, KL at 12, Beijing 13, Taipei 14, Hong Kong 17, Kyoto 18… and many more cities. Even Amman (Jordan) at 64.
In contrast:
Mumbai - 98
Delhi - 104
Bengaluru - 108
Chennai - 128
That’s it. No Pune, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad etc.
😭😭😭😭😭😭
Parameters used were:
- Student perception
- Student mix
- Presence of recruiters in the city
- Desirability
- Affordability
