After the 3 year mandatory practice judgement for judiciary eligibility, these lower NLUs (RMLNLU, CNLU, NLU Aurangabad, NLU sonipat etc) are just a waste of money. Their entire crowd is focused on judiciary and now they'll have to get a job but they aren't prepared and their college is shit

Haha. True. I know people who are unable to land jobs, despite the NLIU and NUJS tag behind them. There is upheaval in the market. Even those who have landed jobs, many are not essentially dealing with any kind of extraordinary work at the law firms. It's just paper-pushing. LinkedIn is such a place to be for young lawyers [0-3 Yrs PQE], that they are spending all their spare time (when not doing menial data-entry work at legal shops) scrolling the feed and stalking the work profiles of the acquaintances. That too on Sundays. Insecure, aimless, shitty souls we have become, including me :( .

Good thing, too. We need fewer of these so-called universities. Many of the ones which are there give universities a bad name and spoil it for the good universities.

How can you say that the students of these NLUs were strictly focusing on judiciary? Don't base your claims on hearsay, many of them will opt for litigation

C'mon we all know that they won't OPT for litigation but they'll HAVE TO do it coz they didn't intern and secure their chances of a job (not that it matters because these colleges aren't active enough to get companies to campus for hiring)- no one WANTS to to do litigation and work for peanuts except when you come from a family of lawyers

NLU Nagpur bro. They have a special course to get the students prepared for judicial roles. They are doomed the most. And interestingly, chancellor of NLU Nagpur, Justice B.R. Gavai has pronounced the judgment.

I really doubt that, your thread is very narrow-minded in thinking that that they will be unable to pivot to the various opportunities available in the profession today. Many of them would have come with the thought of an alternate plan and will do something good. With the multiple law schools with negligible faculty and opportunities, people still come out and become great depending on their grit, these students will do no less.
