PS: Not really relevant to this discussion, but I do hope, one day, the pay war phenomenon, as seen for UK commercial lawyers, comes to India. While that is a problem (for law firm partners, regulators etc), it is a good problem to have.
Even after earning 100s of crores, senior advocate's have a non existent work life balance add to that pollution, traffic, broken/clogged roads.
Don't forget UK also has many filthy rich Indians which require legal assistance for their company and themselves so Indian lawyers do come in demand due to a strong diaspora.
