That’s a very transparent appointment if you know about it
Until he does his basic duty to the university that he's actually the Chancellor of, he has got no moral ground to lecture anyone with regard to legal education. As for shady hiring practices, is it the collegium calling the kettle black?
I agree. Same with the PhD admissions. Best is to have a centralised exam for all PhD admissions in law, like the NET, just more subjective and research oriented.
Maybe he should clean his own backyard first and look at litigation hiring and payment practices
