..as long as you keep is decent and intelligent. Mindless rants get you kicked out! No one wants fake โ–ฎโ–ฎโ–ฎ!
As if HR ever does anything more than the absolute bare minimum.
Which partner is this and can you share the posts? Since he openly does it on Twitter, thereโ€™s no harm in sharing the link.
I check LinkedIn but political views doesn't matter

Nope - because most people who shout their views online are projecting for clout/CV building (masters abroad) etc. So the firms know that these people are careerists at heart. That killer instinct dovetails well with the law firm cutthroat ethos.
1. Some firms do check. 2. Have previously seen someone asked to leave (at a very junior level though) because due to their social media posts, people started dragging the firm's name in the mud.
Yes. If you're not a decent human being per your social media, then big firms won't touch you with a barge pole.

Capitalism ko criticise bhi kar lo, phir uski roti tod ke bhi kha lo. Lmao.
why put something up when you dont believe it enough to follow through?
Not in India so far. As in basic checks are done, but nobody gets cancelled. Because Indian firms understand the reality of people coming down there to do a job for money. So long as they deliver, their personal political stance is irrelevant.
Donโ€™t think so. CAM has a Partner who openly advocates for Palestine on Twitter. Even the SAM son-in-law is quite open with his anti-Modi views on Twitter.
