As CLAT got more popular, a lot of students from modest backgrounds and small towns started giving the exam and this demographic now dominates the student body. So the profile of the Gen Z student body is very different. The students from elite backgrounds now head to Jindal.
I wonder if this has negatively affected placements? ie if recruiters prefer those from elite backgrounds , because they tend to have better communication skills and social skills? Perhaps good contacts too? This might explain Jindal getting a chunk of tier 1 jobs?
