How was Dr ID appointed as VC when he did not have 10 years of experience as Prof as per UGC norms. Also the advertisement for NLU Meg VC seemed tailor made for ID and interestingly his doctoral supervisor NKC (presently NUJS VC) was part of the search committee.
Apparently Prof ID was facing heat at IIT KGP Law and this opportunity was created for him. Can someone from KGP Law shine some light on this?
