Go ahead. No downside. Just if they don't response after the msg and 1 reminder, don't flood them with repeated reminders as people get cheesed off for any reason these days!!
True. I generally prefer emails. Speaking from personal experience too, most people wouldn't respond on email either. They are busy people and unless you are somehow related to them, don't expect guidance on how to navigate this space.
Partners are not dying to read articles written by law students or opine on them. Nobody has the time.
In theory, yes. In practice, life's more complicated. Expect lots of 'message read, but no response' situations.
That is not the best approach unless your intention is to annoy them. You are not the first one to have thought of this approach. Most partners, if they do not know you will probably remove their connection to you and block you.
