Lol, those two places aren't elite by any sense of imagination. You read books that your teacher teaches from. If you read contract law from Avtar Singh, you're unlikely to more than just barely pass if at all at NUJS.
Ha ha! Barring elite NLUs like NLSIU and NALSAR, and top students at the rest, the majority of students go for short cuts rather than read these books. For example, photocopy notes of students, or watch YouTube lectures, or buy cheap guidebooks.

Just study once the course starts. Study for class everyday. Doing well in law school is not hard.
if you're from Nujs better stick to Mulla because your teacher does not consider Avtar Singh to be a Lovely book at all
