Work is work anywhere. T1 or T4 except T1 take themselves a little too seriously as if no one can do what they do. This is true only in their heads. Never believe it. Take work seriously not yourself.
Bro T1s take themselves seriously because they come with a package of 20 lpa, other Ts can keep dreaming about that
Make sure you buy a good watch, iphone, ipad (if ur litigator), royal enfield and shoes before joining. People judge like crazy
These are not needed. No one will ask you why you don't have these. Just have a half decent smartphone and a decent/ reliable 50k laptop.
I am an A2 at a T1. Many (i would say most) of my teammates don’t have a watch or an iphone. Some drive scooties to office. Nobody judges you. Most law firm associates are from normal, middle class backgrounds
Give it your all and never leave a T1. People spend years in their career waiting to make it to a T1. You got the privilege of doing it from the start so work like a horse.
I left, and I never regretted doing so. Joined a T2 with a 20% pay cut, but at the end of the day it's definitely worth it.
▮▮▮ No matter how much you deny it, T1s are the big leagues of law with the fattest pay-cheques and the biggest ticket matters.
fattest, biggest, hugest, badaest, zabardest, humongest, T1est, lawest, lala-est.

Get a life, fan boy. Otherwise, get into investment banking or private equity.
40 hour work weeks, no toxicity, good colleagues.
I have no toxicity and good colleagues in T-1 also. Work is 50-60 hours a week on an average but pay is consumerate.
Good for you. Happy for you. Hope it stays the same.
