I worked under Bangalore Niranjan Vivek and he was a gem! Knowledgeable and very likeable. Anirudha Bose was alright. Nothing unlikeable or toxic about him. I don't know why these two names have been downvoted.

Do they want to pay it forward?
That intention often stems from firm culture. Does the firm value and recognize those who train, mentor, and uplift others? Does the system reward partners who are not just rainmakers, but also leaders, mentors, and friends?
The hard truth is—most law firms don’t. They thrive on toxicity.
Revenues over values.
Revenues over leadership.
Revenues over mentorship.
Revenues over people.
So even if you find someone empathetic, intentional, and working in a supportive firm—remember, the broader market rarely rewards it. In fact, it often punishes it.
