No, the streams are not merit based. You can choose whatever you like.
Which stream is highest scoring? Well I can tell you by experience that the lowest scoring is BA, even I had humanities and thought it would be a better option but it was a mistake.
BBA/Bcom would be a good option and if you don’t want to go near business or accounting subjects then go with the safest, tried and tested BSW.
And no, streams are not a deciding factor for your placements. Nobody cares about your stream. But they do care about your rank which is based on your marks which is based on…you get my point.
