We want LI to be one of the friendliest places on the internet, where lawyers and law students help each other with their career related queries and occasionally discuss other stuff that might affect their lives too. In other words:
1. Be kind, respectful and helpful to each other.
2. Be bona fide, truthful, genuine and curious.
3. Assume the best intention of others.

So for those who are not tier 1 material... Yet still want a decent academic experience and a chance to grow, what would your rankings be for the tier 2 NLUs ??
This is the list, nothing else is right ;)
Tier 1 would be NLSIU>NALSAR>NLUD.
Tier 2 would JGLS>GNLU>NLUJ>NUJS.
Tier 3 would be NLIU>RGNUL>RMLNLU>MNLU-M>NUALS>BITS>Symbi Pune>Symbi Noids
Rest tier 4 (eg Odisha, Nagpur) and 5 (eg Patna, Ranchi)
from the pov of placements, performance in moots etc
HNLU has been outperforming both
T1: NLS, Nalsar, NUJS, NLUD, Jindal (if fee affordable or you get scholarship)
T2: NLUJ, NLIU, GNLU, HNLU, MNLU Mumbai
T3: RMLNLU, NUALS, RGNUL, SLS Pune
T4: CNLU, DSNLU, TNNLU, MNLU Nagpur/Aurangabad
T5: NLU Assam, HPNLU, NLU Sonipat, DNLU Jabalpur, Nirma, Christ Bangalore, SLS Noida, etc.
Tried to include as many options looking at the OP
Here's what you were looking for, kid: GNLU outperforms, outstrips, outguns (whichever expression you prefer) all the T1s. That's it. End of story. Happy? You've got someone morbid enough to give you the controversial hot take you needed. Now log off and find something useful to do (e.g., if you'll be going for an LLM, actually refine your dissertation ideas/research proposal now, instead of wasting time now and scrambling later).
Moreover, It's a public platform with anonymity, open for all. If the kid believes he can't join a tier 1, and wants to look for a decent tier 2, good for them. They know themselves. Or, even if it's fake, it still helps people who genuinely want to know the same thing but are afraid to ask. Not everything is a D-measuring contest.
Plus, you setting up GNLU shows that you are the one with a chip on their shoulders. You need to calm your ego down, and be useful. Your rant is helping no one, not even yourself. So participate, or go cry me a river.
