Do you solemnly agree to all of the above?
a) Bar foreign law firms from opening physical offices in India
b) Follow the Indian Supreme Court's judgement applying the fly in out principle through a term of 6 months
c) They cannot advise on aspects of Indian law, only foreign law
I think that the India desks of foreign law firms can advise on Indian law. (Not so sure, can someone clarify)
If HN clients are willing to pay more for foreign law firms advice, then it's a win-win as they don't have to spent money on opening physical offices.
