I'm hoping for Nujs. Can someone tell me about SBI scholar loan ? Do we get loan before admission or after admission? Give me full details, thank you.

You'll get a Scholar loan easily. Approach the nearest SBI branch - If not, PBB Saltlake branch near GD Island, Salt Lake should be able to help. You an avail it after joining, depending on if you can pay the initial fees comfortably. Good luck!

Thanks for replying, do we have to pay admission fees with semester fees, or I could just pay admission fees. Actually my parents can't afford.

Normally the fees for the first semester are payable along with admission, but if you have genuine financial problems, then you can approach the administration in advance and then tell them about it, so that they may give you advance documentation proving your admission, which you can use to get the loan in advance from the local SBI branch or the Union Bank branch that is located within the campus. It has been done before. After that, you may apply for scholarships, both in-house and external ones like Platinum, Aditya Birla etc. You may also get in touch with the IDIA people if you qualify the income criterion.
