THE PLACEMENTS OMG! it's bad. Like, really really bad. The placement cell WhatsApp group "forwards" Internship opportunities via LinkedIn.
There are like, 2-3 known firms that have approached us for placements and they are also not T1s.
The placement data on their website is also not "accurate".
Please save the hard earned money of your parents and choose a college that values it's students.
I would say, opt for jgls if you can. But then make the best of the resources offered and stick with a good circle. The opportunities are endless, you just have to know how to use them at the right time.
speak to your family, uncle anyone and ask about their connection in law firms be it as clients or personal connections and if you have a few options or know a big lawyer who can get you into many firms, use the connection it is your best asset and no shame, if you have no connections then nmims gives you almost no help career wise.
