You are remarkably charitable. I would have described it as "misogynistic", personally. But naturally, each to their own perspective. (I'm a man BTW.)
I would have said something but my PhD is tied with the university so I'd rather keep mum. The way things are run in the PhD department are complacent at best and harmful at worst.

Beautiful response. Props to you for keeping a cool head amidst the endless trolling of him that happens on this website. Really good job, especially, on exposing and highlighting the double standards.

I love that modern saying (is it American in origin?) "Karma's a bitch". Thanks, mods, for the oblique reminder of it via the marking of an actual comment which is "trollish" :).

yeah the gendering is strange. I'm a fan girl. Most people I know who like sudhir and the work he does are also women.
Can't there be Sudhir fan girls, too? Is there some default, by which women cannot have respect for the work he does and the difference he is making to Indian legal education?
Is there any way that I can get in touch with this person? Would gladly offer her whatever mentorship, support and connections that she needs and I can provide. She seems to be the kind of student whom law schools and teachers can take pride in.
By the way, does anyone know if there is any plan to increase the size of the 3-Year cohort anytime soon? NLSIU is the only decent place now in India that offers such a programme now. I'm not counting DU because it's only a shade of its past prestige.

Because Sudhir is attempting to make NLS a law school which more effectively caters to people like him. Most people aren't like him, unfortunately (though they should be, and hopefully can be inspired/directed towards such a path).

If you're not, then by your own metric, you can't speak about them at all.
You really should get some coaching in logic. It is clear that you've never had any good teacher, let alone Sudhir.
So it was NUJS practice, in those days, for students to try and harm (officially play a prank with) anyone they disliked by using fireworks?
If you are asking those of someone, then doubtless you have those yourself. Start with that first.
Since when does Sudhir have such peer-reviewed publications in his record that you have mentioned?
Twat isn't as bad as the c-word. Unredact at once, please.
Need further background information on this. Any sources you have which can elaborate on the sequence of events you outlined above? Moderator, please feel free to intervene by adding a source, if you know of one.
People have been VCs but they have not been messiahs.
By what metric is Sudhir great? Because he's the VC of a university? There have been plenty of such people.
NLS waalin sharam kar liya karoโ€ฆ why do you think this is relevant for the whole world to see?
I wouldnt read into this sort of thing. Take your tin foil hat. Likely the website update person just hasnt gotten to it yet.
You know that that isn't true (i.e., that isn't the reason for it), I think. If you had read the pages, they profile a small number of students. Not everyone.
