As a consultant, your job would be to fill forms for clients for various rankings, draft their LinkedIn announcements, and get their articles published on BB etc. A lot of upcoming law firms (invariably the bulk of their clients) treat consultants rather badly.
Firm 1-my old firm: ruined the culture and made everyone hate the managing partner even though he is a nice guy.Firm 2-my girlfriend's firm: made the partners look like jokers on social media.
Firm 3-where I interviewed but rejected it when I heard they were in charge of HR: turned HR into a ▮▮▮.
Partners still love them because they get them fat salaries and new jobs.
