1. accomodation. Look for PGs/hostels in areas like Mukherjee Nagar (for students), Uttam Nagar, Laxmi Nagar, or Seelampur. Dirt cheap and full of others grinding it out. (Emergency accomodation: Gurudwara Bangla Sahib or others often provide temporary shelteror search for Search “Rain Basera near me”)2. food: langars at gurudwaras, community kitchenns like roti bank feeding india, you can also get 25 rupee meals at iskcon tempes idk if its a regular thing. Rajma Chawal and Chhole Bhature near Connaught Place, Kamla Nagar, or Karol Bagh at ₹30–₹50 per plate.
3.transport: Delhi is flat and walkable in short stretches. in any case, get dtc bus passes or metro passes. shared autos are also nice.
4. others: DU Libraries, Nehru Memorial Library, or the Central Secretariat Library -- quiet, free AC + WiFi + power outlets. Free Medical Aid at Mohalla Clinics.
5.hustle smart: Odd jobs, tutoring, content writing, Swiggy/Zomato delivery, or freelancing or cab driving/rapido rides before and after your litigation jobs. do anything to get started. Delhi rewards the relentless.
